so the first half of the day is complete and a horrible lunch has been attempted. i have tons of pictures to share but need to find a computer that i can connect my memory card into or see if my laptop can connect wifi from the seminar room before class starts back up.
the university is absolutely gorgeous.
the food? sucks. i'm sorry. i hate to be *that* american ... but, geez. they serve cheese all the time. stinky moldy, smell like vomit cheese that is RUNNY! who eats runny cheese? the other thing is that the add sugar to EVERYTHING! i put on my registration form that i have to have a "no sugar" diet but that seems to have been lost in translation. so i've since asked for a diabetic friendly diet but they looked at me like i was an idiot.
looks like i'll lose some weight this trip. :)
another thing. bread. they like dense, hard as a rock bread. yuck. bread is suppose to be light and fluffy and enjoyable to eat. no wonder they don't need "card addict" diets here.
last thing before i run back to class ...
this $&£%^"*%)(^$"! keyboard. the @ symbol is over here by the return key over the single apostrophe. the double apostrophe is over the 2. and the pipe symbol is on the left next to my "z". i have a rhythm for my password and it requires the pipe symbol. this is dorking with my ability to log into my email. OH and the # sign is next to the enter as well and the enter key is super small so i keep getting ## each time i hit enter.

all in all, it's good though. the room is clean. i have a private bath. my view is wonderful (will share soon).
