the one at the end of day one

so, i am jet.lagged.

today was interesting. and i can't even say i think it was entirely all "good" interesting. it was a lot of general chaos at the beginning and i gather our facilitators haven't really facilitated this discussion previously. perhaps once or twice but this isn't something they've done often, i think.

we were broken out into smaller groups and will work the case study, as a group, the rest of the week. this will be a huge challenge.

i didn't get to have dinner tonight because when i went over there at 8:15ish, there were no seats available. i popped in at 8:45 and still no seats. my colleague and i emailed around 9:15 and so i went over to the chateau to eat and everyone was still in there, done eating, and the wait-staff was cleaning. dinner is to go until 10pm but ... yeah.

so. guess i go hungry tonight. teaches me to bitch about the sugar and cheese, eh? :)

tomorrow is going to be super hectic since we start the initial case study work, so off to bed i go. it's 10:45 here and only 3:45pm back home. i am super tired though.
